This study examines the economic impact of eucalyptus plantation on farmers' sustainability in Gujarat. Eucalyptus has gained popularity as a cash crop due to its fast growth and high market demand for timber and pulpwood. However, there are concerns about the potential negative effects of eucalyptus cultivation on farmers' sustainability. This research assesses the economic aspects of eucalyptus plantation, including the income generation potential, cost-benefit analysis, and implications for farmers' livelihoods. Data was collected through surveys and interviews with farmers involved in eucalyptus cultivation. The findings reveal the economic benefits and challenges associated with eucalyptus plantation, and discuss the implications for farmers' long-term sustainability. The study provides insights for policymakers and stakeholders in developing strategies to enhance farmers' well-being and promote sustainable land use practices.
