Abstract

This case report details the successful prosthetic restoration of a lost finger using Intensity Fix acrylic pitch. The patient, who lost a finger due to trauma, underwent a prosthetic rehabilitation process involving the fabrication and fitting of a custom-made finger prosthesis. The prosthetic restoration not only aimed to restore aesthetic appearance but also focused on enhancing functional dexterity. The fabrication technique utilized Intensity Fix acrylic pitch, known for its durability and realistic appearance, to create a natural-looking finger prosthesis that seamlessly integrated with the remaining digits. The patient's satisfaction with the prosthesis was evaluated based on cosmetic appearance, comfort, and functionality. This case underscores the importance of prosthetic rehabilitation in improving quality of life and restoring dexterity following traumatic finger loss.
